His most popular books are “Human Bandage”, “The Moon and Sixpence” and “Cakes and Ale”.. His most famous short story is “Rain” published in 1921. He died in Dec, 16, 1965.

“Of Human Bondage” is circle around a young boy named as Philip. Philip use to live in London with his aunt and uncle after the dead of his parents. His uncle is a minister and he grow up in a religious strict household. He always feels alone and he had not any friends. In his school all the fellow mates makes a fun on him because he is physically abnormal.
He spend his most of time in readings books in school. His mission is to take an admission in Oxford University. He desires to becames a minister as like his uncle. But he is not sure about his goals because of many unfavorable situations in his life. He went to Germany with this aunt and uncle one day. Then he discovers an unconventional idea as like not believing on God.
The story of “Of Human Bondage” is proceed further and Philip returns to London again. He does not wants to become a minister. So he starts a training of accountant. He fined a job suddendly but he is not satisfied with his job and he leave it. Now he wants to take admission in Arts but his aunt and uncle stop him to do so. After a big conversation with them, he motivates them at least.
Philip went to Paris and his life begins with full of joy with his friends. Soon after, the dead of his friend Fanny, hurt him and he decided to step back from his dream of becoming an artist. He decided to go back to London and wants to start a medical training. One day he meets a lady named as Mildred, a very hurt and selfish women. Despite of all differences between them Philips fall in love.
They then spend their most of time together. One day Mildred leave him and go with another man but after some times she returns back and tells to Philip that she is pregnant. She has not money yet. Philip begins to help her and give her a huge money. Suddenly, she once again leave him. The story of “Of Human Bondage” and one day by a chance, Philip meets Mildred. She is working in a sex industry to earn money for her baby.
Philips then decide to take them both with him. He showed his big care and love for both of them. Mildred wants to begin a sex relation with him. He refused all her desires. One day, she again leave Philip and went away. Philip became poor now and he decide to end his life. But his friend named as Athelny cames forward and tell him to live with his family.
On the other hand Mildred is suffering from a diseases named as Syphilis. But she is still doing job in sex industry. Philips uncle passed away and he then he received a handsome amount as an inheritance. He continue his medical training and becomes a doctor. Suddenly he fall in love with an attractive girl named as Sally Athelny and wants to marry him. Sally tells that she can able be pregnant. Despite of all these Philip proposed her and she shows her willingness to marry with him.
